Texline + Lippert
Lippert slipper roller suspension for 2027 Texline trailers
Better trailers start with the parts we choose to put under them. Slipper roller suspension is now an upgrade on five 2027 Texline series.
Why we partner with Lippert
At Texline, we answer for the whole trailer, including the components we put under it. Our partnership with Lippert gives us more ways to improve what we build and more options to offer for the work you do.
A supplier should help us build a better trailer and understand it well enough to stand behind it. Lippert gives us suspension options, technical resources and training, so we can make informed choices about what we install and give our dealers information worth passing on to you.
That fits how we already work. We look closely at how a trailer is built, weigh each improvement, and explain why an option belongs on a trailer before we offer it.
A closer look at slipper roller suspension
Your suspension works every time the trailer hits a bump or a rough stretch of road, and the way its parts handle those hits adds up over the years. Lippert’s slipper roller design pairs rollers, rubber bushings and equalizer bump stops to cut friction, absorb vibration and keep the suspension from moving too far.
Rollers reduce spring wear
Rollers at the equalizer and rear hanger let the slipper ends of the springs move as the springs flex. That cuts friction at those contact points, which Lippert says significantly decreases spring wear.
Rubber bushings absorb vibration
Rubber bushings at the spring eyes and equalizer take up vibration as the suspension works. Lippert builds them in to reduce stress on the system and smooth the ride over uneven ground.
Bump stops limit equalizer rotation
Bump stops on the equalizer keep it from over-rotating and cushion hard hits. That protects the suspension and frame from the high-impact loads that too much rotation can cause.
How it moves
As the spring flexes, its slipper end moves over a roller instead of sliding against a fixed surface. Less friction at that point means less wear on the spring.
What it means after the trailer leaves our yard
When we look at an upgrade, we ask what it does for you after the sale. With slipper roller suspension the answer is practical: less friction where the springs ride, cushioning against vibration, and controlled equalizer movement. Lippert designs them to help the suspension last and to give you a smoother tow.
Like any suspension, it still needs routine inspection and maintenance. Our job is to explain what it does so you can decide whether it fits how you use your trailer.
Available on these 2027 series
The Bobcat Tilt rides on torsion axles, which have no leaf springs, so this upgrade does not apply to it.
Ask your Texline dealer about it
Tell your dealer what you haul, where you tow and how often the trailer works. They can confirm the suspension setup, pricing and availability for the model you have in mind.
